Monica Jones Roberson is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a wife and mother of two children. She is the CEO/Founder of R.E.S.U.M.E (Rapidly Exploring Success Utilizing Maximum Experiences), an organization inspired by her career in Education as a Teacher. Monica is a Certified Career Development Specialist and Grant Resource Specialist and has been a Career Services Professional for the last 10 years.
Monica attended Wiley College in Marshall, TX and received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. She is currently completing her Masters of Public Administration degree with a concentration in Non-Profit Management at Walden University. Monica is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she is a former Chapter President.
Throughout the years, Monica has faced an array of issues from financial, medical, and marital to relationships with family and friends and trauma & grief. She endured all this while doing everything in her power to maintain a stable living environment and lead community events. As she healed, she combined her gifts with her lessons learned to assist those who feel as though there is no hope in sight to work through their layers of bondage, pain, grief, and resentment. She is their motivator, encourager, and guide as they attempt to find their way back to a life of peace, love, and happiness by uncovering and releasing the layers of issues that keep them bound.
